After graduating from Denver University with a BSBA in Finance and a member of Denver's successfull alpine ski team, Fred spent years as a trader in the futures pit in New York City. Fred continued to share his experience as a lifetime skier coaching JR ski racers throughout his adult life. He and his wife Debbie moved to Sunday River in 1995 looking for the quality of life available in this mountain resort community. A certified national ski coach and highly regarded boot fitter, Fred leads the staff with years of technical expertise and customer service.

Married in college and taught to ski by Fred (mandatory commitment to the relationship), Debbie is a passionate skier and mother of 4 outstanding skiers. She has managed softgoods departments for several ski shops and now manages the buying, accounting, and overall operations of Jack Frost. Debbie has an exceptional reputation for selecting stylish, functional machandise that our customers love.
TJ Cowin

The Cowins' teenage daughter Tara is the head fashion consultant and accessories buyer. When you want to know what is "in" you go to the source of society's current trends. TJ is an accomplished ski racer with GSR and Telstar (state champion) ski teams. She proves fashion and function go hand and hand.

Jim can usually be found in the boot lab where his talent and bag of tricks can help solve even the toughest fit issues. Most week days he can be found skiing the bumps of freshies around the mountain.

Debbie's Right Hand Woman
About:
Judy is in charge of our product merchandising and inventory, she can help you find what your looking for. When done with the slopes, she enjoys running Jim ragged on the tennis court (payback for those bump runs).
Bob Lausier

About:
Our lead man in the telemark department has many years of experience as an alpine race coach and ski pro. Bob helps with product testing and purchasing. He is a mountain rep for Tecnica/Volkl, and is an incredible resource on the sales floor and in the boot lab. If you miss him on the slopes or in the shop he's probably bartending at Sud's Pub or The Shipyard Brew House.
